Buxie, a grey pixel-art bunny sitting upright

Buxie

A bunny that judges your impulse buys.

It follows your cursor while you browse. Hover an Add to Cart or Checkout button and it turns mad. That is the whole thing.

The wishlist link is a deliberate near-miss. Buxie ignores it.

How it works

It reads the button, not you

When your pointer enters a button or link, Buxie checks that one element's text and attributes against a fixed list of phrases such as add to cart, buy it now and place order. Nothing else on the page is read.

No per-site setup

There is no list of supported stores to maintain, so it works on most storefronts without knowing anything about them. Verified against real pages on Amazon and three Shopify themes.

It never gets in the way

The bunny is drawn with pointer events switched off, so it cannot intercept a click. One switch in the toolbar turns it off, and open tabs update straight away.

The extension collects nothing

Not a soft nothing. Buxie makes zero network requests. There is no server, no accounts and no third-party code in the extension. The only thing it ever saves is a single on or off switch, stored on your own machine.

It never reads or sends page content, prices, cart contents, form fields, URLs or browsing history. The source is public so you can check all of that yourself.

This website is a separate thing, and it does count page views, using Vercel’s cookieless analytics. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, nothing tied to you personally. The extension is not involved and never talks to this site.

What it does not do
